Jeremiah’s tenure with Conch Republic began in 2022 shortly after his retirement from the US Air Force Bands.

True’s musical journey began in Grant County, KY, and continued at Morehead State University where he obtained a music education degree. While at MSU, True performed in multiple ensembles, and was employed by Princess Cruise Lines and the Jenny Wiley Theatre.

Shortly after graduating from MSU, True successfully won an audition with the US Air Force Band Program, and over the course of 21 years was assigned to Wright-Patterson, Hanscom, Travis, and Yokota Air bases. In 2009 he deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan with the US Air Forces Central Command Band Falcon, and toured Iraq, Afghanistan, Qatar, Oman, the United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain. During his time in Japan, True performed with multiple Japanese military bands, and toured Thailand, Republic of Korea, India, and Okinawa.

Other notable performances in True’s military career include the funeral for President Gerald Ford, performances for Presidents Clinton and George W. Bush, and appearances with the LA Philharmonic, Chicago, The Dayton Opera, The Dayton Loft Theatre, The Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra, The Dayton Jazz Orchestra, Phil Woods, The Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra, The Miracles, The O’Jays, Phyllis Diller, Steve Martin, The Cleveland Pops, The Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, and multiple regional and national musical theatre productions.

Following his retirement in 2021, True has performed with the National Broadway tour of Mean Girls, multiple appearances with the Lexington Theatre Company, and of course, the amazing CONCH REPUBLIC!!!
