Flack's musical journey began at the University of Kentucky, where he played a significant role in various ensembles and later served as the Percussion Caption Head for the UK Drumline. Mr. Flack also performed with Phantom Regiment under the direction of Dr. Brian Mason during the summer of 1998.
In addition to his performance and instructional roles, Flack is an accomplished composer and arranger with Fannin Music Productions, while also contributing to The Blue Book from Tapspace. Notably, Flack's
dedication to percussion education has earned national recognition, with
his ensembles receiving prestigious honors and his affiliations with industry leaders like Innovative Percussion Inc. and Zildjian Inc. solidifying his status as a prominent figure in the percussion community.
